The gorgeous Brickhouse Vineyard has become one of my favourite venues to photograph at this year. I love the long driveway, the beautifully restored roundhouse, the barn and of course the vineyards themselves. The staff are all amazing and super helpful, I can totally recommend it as a wedding venue.
I have seen many a spectacular sunset there too through the long grass, while guests played lawn games and drank cocktails from the bar.
The garden area around the round house and barn is just stunning, especially in the afternoon and evening light, where guests can enjoy canapes and you can have group photographs there. The horse trailer pizza van is my absolute favourite – some of the best pizzas I had tried.
Koren and Will had a lovely summer Brickhouse Vineyard wedding, after getting ready at separate venues and having their ceremony in St Clements Church at Powderham, on the Exe estuary, which held a special place in their family’s hearts. It has such a great setting surrounded by a wildflower meadow and looking out to sea.
They had canapes outside before their wedding breakfast and speeches in the barn, then headed outside again to play lawn games, cut the cake and have some photographs. They ended the night in the Brickhouse Vineyard roundhouse, with dancing followed by some evening woodfired pizzas.

I was second shooting for the wonderful Steve at Nova Wedding Photography.
The flowers, including the beautiful display around the church door were all by ‘Flowers by Sophie Millington’, based in Exeter, who did an impressive job and I can recommend highly.
I have to say, having tried the food, Mulberry Catering Co, did an amazing job. Incredibly tasty. Another highly recommended supplier.
The table decorations were simple but very beautiful with the natural florals complimenting the wooden chairs and barn vibes. I loved the couples special touch of having old polaroid photos of their families printed out on each table setting. It was so lovely to see people reminiscing over them. Old school disposable cameras and Brickhouse Vineyard wine on the tables were also nice touches.
The band ‘Ear Candy‘ from Oxford, were great and soon had the dancefloor jumping with upbeat tunes and when the sun set we headed out for a few photos in the pretty long grass.
