What is a Day in the Life photography session?

A Day in the Life session is a form of documentary family photography.

Instead of posing or directing, I spend time with you while real life unfolds – at home, outdoors, or wherever you naturally spend time together.

That might look like:

Breakfast chaos
Walks in the countryside or along the coast
Muddy boots, dogs, fires and cooking
Reading, playing, resting, being together

Nothing is staged. Nothing is forced.

The result is a set of photographs that feel familiar, honest and deeply personal – a true record of this season of your family’s life.

Outdoorsy, relaxed family photography in Devon

I’m drawn to families who spend time outside.

Investment

Day in the Life family photography sessions begin at £450 for a half day.

Each session is approached slowly and thoughtfully, with time to let real life unfold.

Pricing reflects not just the time we spend together, but the experience, the editing, and the creation of images that will matter more as the years pass.

Full day session last from wake up til bedtime, half day sessions typically last 4-5 hours.
